— In an update on the planned Bruno Sammartino documentary that was scheduled to air on local TV in Pittsburgh, PA over Mother’s Day weekend, those negotiations fell through. The documentary has been in the works for several years now.
— As previously reported here on the website, WWE Superstar Batista will be taking part in the remake of the “Kickboxer” film. UFC star Georges St-Pierre and MMA fighter Alain Moussi will also be appearing in the film. The hope within WWE is that this will be the first of a continuing franchise. The film is expected to be given a huge budget as well. There is no word as of this writing on when filming will begin but Batista will need time off from WWE while shooting his scenes.
