While not many details have been revealed about WWE 2K15, there are currently rumors that a “My Career” mode will replace the “30 Years of Wrestlemania” mode. It would feature the player starting out in NXT and then working to the main roster before eventually winning a championship.
ORIGINAL: Take-Two may not be releasing WWE 2K15 until…well, 2015. Game Informer has the news, revealing that during the company’s latest earnings call it was noted that the game is listed for “Fiscal 2015,” which goes as far as March 31st of next year.
Obviously that is a wide window and it could still release this year, but it is worth noting that NBA 2K15, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Civilization: Beyond Earth, and Evolve are were all listed as “Fall 2014.” That at least suggests that the WWE game may not have a solid date and could be pushed back.
It is worth noting that Take-Two revealed that NBA 2K developer Visual Concepts are helping in the development and with the game making the franchise’s debut on next-gen systems, it could be taking extra time. No comment from 2K Sports yet.
