Tyson Kidd Getting Repackaged – Masked Gimmick?

At this time, the plan is to repackage Tyson Kidd and transition him into a new masked wrestler gimmick. Kidd has already had a mask designed by a Lucha Libre mask designer. The company thinks that Kidd is a very talented performer, but the feeling is that they cannot do anything with him as “Tyson Kidd” past him being a prelim guy. This is due to the way that he has been booked.

There is no confirmation that he will be pushed as a “Mexican performer,” but the mask he had made is said to be a “Lucha Libre” style mask.
