Backstage Update – Why WWE Fired Referee Marc Harris

As reported earlier, one of the reasons WWE made several releases this week is to help balance the losses from the WWE Network. Many talents were considered expandable given the company is trying to cut costs.

That being said, it is believed that WWE ref Marc Harris was released due to having heat on him for a Twitter rant with former WWE ref Jimmy Korderas a few months ago. WWE employees are told to stay out of Twitter drama/wars and his rant against Korderas went totally against that.
