Batista Heavily Featured In Guardians Of The Galaxy Licensing

While Batista won’t be seen on RAW for the next few months, he’s going to be pretty much everywhere else. Variety reports that Marvel is going to be aggressive in its strategy of marketing Guardians of the Galaxy including several licensing partnerships that will heavily feature the entire cast, including Batista as Drax the Destroyer.

The site notes that the studio has an action figure deal with Hasbro, along with kid’s costumes from Rubies and forty-eight other partnerships. Among those promoting the film via licensing deals will be Wal-Mart and Target, while companies like Lego, Mad Engine, KIDdesigns, New Era and Disguise are all partnered with the studio.

The film opens on August 1st.
