— According to Google on Sunday night, there were a lot of searches from fans asking “how to cancel WWE Network subscriptions”. This was after John Cena won the WWE title so clearly a lot of people were pissed off. That’s also not a good sign for WWE as the initial six-month subscription period for many fans will be coming to an end over the next few months. The hope is that people will renew and more people will join for SummerSlam and more content including reality shows, DVDs, etc. There are a lot of people within WWE who are worried that many of their current subscribers won’t be renewing when their initial six-month period is up. The numbers are already way less than expected and it’s likely that they are going to see a huge drop off in the fall.
— As noted earlier, WWE is promoting a live contract signing for a “top Japanese wrestler” during their July 12 live event in Osaka, Japan. That top name is expected to be KENTA. WWE is now advertising that Hulk Hogan and other WWE officials will take part in the contract signing:
