**SPOILER** – New X-Division Champion Crowned

As noted earlier in the iMPACT! Wrestling taping results, former TNA X-Division Champion Austin Aries surrendered his title in order to receive a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Lashley at the Destination-X show.

As a result, the title became vacant and was put on the line in a mini-tournament. Samoa Joe, Sanada and Low Ki would all go on to win their qualifying matches, leading to a triple-threat match that will air on the August 7th edition of the show. That match took place tonight, and Samoa Joe won, marking his fifth reign as X-Division Champion.
