According to sources, WWE has ordered all new championship belts. This is being done due to the new logo change, which will be used on everything going forward. That logo is supposed to be used starting the day after Summerslam. The logo was first introduced in December at the WrestleMania press conference in San Jose, and has been used for the WWE Network.
When John Cena handed Ric Flair the WWE World Title Belt on Raw a few weeks ago, it was seen as a symbolic retirement of that belt. This was done because that title is so closely associated with Flair. Once the new title belt is introduced, Cena will only carry that singular belt.
