— FOX News reports that the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City will be closing in September. It’s one of several closing on the Boardwalk. The casino was a sponsor for WrestleMania IV in 1988 and WrestleMania V in 1989, which were both held in Boardwalk Hall next door. This was the start of a relationship between Donald Trump and WWE, leading to his Hall of Fame induction in 2013. The partnership with Trump Plaza led to weekend activities related to WrestleMania, including a 5K run, a WrestleMania breakfast event, signings and more. This eventually led to WWE creating the week-long WrestleMania AXXESS.

— Japanese wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi, not to be confused with KENTA, who just signed with WWE, was backstage at the WWE live event in Tokyo, Japan on Friday.

— WWE has posted a new promo for the WWE Network, which declares that the service is “running wild”.
