If you’ve been paying attention to the news, social media or pretty much anything, you’re likely aware of the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri. The Saturday police shooting of Brown, an unarmed teenage African-American, has captured the attention of the country, particularly following the protests that have broken out over the situation and the violence that has erupted as the police have attempted to handle the situation. The police have been accused of using excessive force, and journalists have claimed that they were arrested for trying to cover the story.
The situation has affected many people, and TNA star MVP felt passionate enough to head to Ferguson to join in lawful protests. MVP posted to Twitter, saying:
I've made up my mind. I packed a bag. I'm going.
