According to sources, the recently formed stable consisting of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E appears to have been dropped by WWE creative. The source notes that Big E was working solo as a face for WWE’s Australia tour, and Kingston also worked as a face. On last night’s Smackdown, Big E worked by himself and lost to Rusev, without there being any mention of Kingston or Woods on TV.
Now to be fair, the wrestlers working as faces in Australia does not unequivocally mean the stable idea has been dropped. On the other hand, WWE has been notorious as of late for starting angles or pushes and completely dropping them before they really get going.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
