As previously reported, Rob Van Dam finished up his latest WWE run at last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings. He faced Seth Rollins at the tapings. Van Dam’s deal with the company is that he comes in and works for 90 days or so, and then takes time off. He worked a little more than 90 days this time around, and at this time, there is no official date set for a return.
RVD already has two independent appearances set. First he appears early in the day on September 20th at the Legends of the Ring event in Monroe, NJ. That appearance will be an autograph signing. He then appears later that night at the Pro Wrestling Syndicate “All Fired Up” event later that night, signing at their pre-show meet and greet event.
