WWE Releases Storyline ‘Injury’ Update For AJ Lee

WWE.com published a story that WWE Divas champion AJ Lee was injured after she was pushed off the stage by Paige during this week’s edition of SmackDown.

According to WWE physician, Dr. Chris Amann: “AJ was initially not responding when we got to her. As a precautionary measure, we put her in a neck brace, put her on a backboard and escorted her to a local medical facility for follow-up testing. There, she was diagnosed with a whiplash injury.”
