WWE SummerSlam Location Change Confirmed – Details

UPDATE: It was confirmed by Michael Cole during SummerSlam on Sunday night that next year the PPV will take place on the “East coast.”

ORIGINAL: According to sources, WWE is looking to take SummerSlam to a major arena in the New York market next year. If it happens, that would be the first time in seven years that the show hasn’t been at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
