As previously reported, it was Vince McMahon’s idea to have John Cena dominate the Wyatt Family at the end of RAW a couple of weeks ago. McMahon wanted Cena to come back strong after Lesnar destroyed him at Summerslam.
Vince has been “drilling” the creative team to make them prove to Cena’s fans that he is not a lost cause after that loss. Other WWE officials have been against the idea of Cena being booked so strongly, especially at the expense of the Wyatts, but Vince has refused to change his mind.
