— As previously reported, WWE was allegedly planning to build up Roman Reigns over the next several months with a Rumble win and WrestleMania 31 main event in mind. His emergency hernia surgery could alter those plans, as he’s expected to be out for a few months. It’s believed that in even a “worst case scenario” he will be back in time for the Rumble. Barring any complications or a slower healing process, he is still on track to get pushed before WrestleMania 31. With Reigns out, the plan is to push Dean Ambrose as the #2 babyface for now.

Daniel Bryan is also expected to make his return around the same time as Reigns. Batista will likely be back in time for WrestleMania, possibly for a “farewell run” now that his Hollywood career is doing well.
