UPDATE: Word is that Bully Ray is close to signing a short-term deal with TNA. If the two sides come to terms, Ray would sign a two-date deal. This would allow him to appear at this week’s TV tapings (and finish up the tag team series), as well as appear at Bound For Glory on October 12th. He and tag team partner Devon are going into the Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory.
Devon’s last contracted date to work for TNA is the October 12th Bound For Glory event.
ORIGINAL: As previously reported, TNA is now advertising Bully Ray and Bobby Roode for the 2014 TNA Bound for Glory pay-per-view event. Team 3D is already set to receive a Hall of Fame induction at the event.
In an update to what is currently going on with Bully Ray and TNA, Ray has reportedly been offered a new short-term deal with the company. This way, Team 3D will be able to wrap up its tag team title series with The Hardys and The Wolves. In addition, Ray will likely appear at the next iMPACT! Wrestling tapings.
Devon’s contract also expires within the next several months so both could end up departing the company around the same time. Of course, they could also sign new deals as negotiations are continuing.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
