Report: TNA Contacts Alberto Del Rio Yet Again

TNA’s John Gaburick has once again reached out to Alberto Del Rio about joining the promotion. We’re told Gaburick contacted Del Rio for at least the second time last week and said they’ve got major plans for him if he decided to agree to terms with the company. Del Rio will wrestle for AAA in Mexico on September 14 at their “Ring & Rockstars 3” event.

As previously reported, WWE is trying to keep Del Rio from wrestling with a no-compete clause, but reports say that may have been dismissed. At a press conference in Mexico on Tuesday, Del Rio said: “It is unconstitutional that you can not work … thanks to lawyers and support of AAA, I can fight without any problems”
