Steve Austin & WWE Reach Deal – Details Inside

As reported last night, Steve Austin’s podcast was promoted on WWE RAW.

Austin has a deal with WWE where the Steve Austin Show will be promoted on RAW in return for Austin promoting the WWE Network and recommended matches on his podcast under the banner of his “$9.99 Match of the Week.”

Also, WWE is about to ramp up production of new Steve Austin t-shirts and other merchandise.

This story is still developing, but it will be interesting to see what comes of it. Austin most recently appeared for WWE back at WrestleMania XXX in a memorable opening segment with Hulk Hogan and The Rock. He was rumored to be in talks with WWE about a potential relaunch of Tough Enough on the WWE Network, but that project was put on hold due to budget cuts.
