The early buyrate for the first WE Summerslam event in the post-WWE Network era has been announced. The 2014 event reportedly drew between 145,000-150,000 PPV buys.
This is down from 2013’s buyrate of 298,000 buys. However, that was before the start of the WWE Network, which currently has about 700,000 subscribers and provides access to all of WWE’s monthly, live PPV events.
