As you’d expect, several sources within WWE are concerned about CM Punk chants tonight on RAW. Tonight’s edition of RAW takes place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, which is roughly 15 miles away from Chicago.
Word is that members of the WWE social media department have been told to search through Reddit, Twitter, top-liked Facebook fan pages, and assorted other forums and platforms to find out if there are any rallying plans lined up similar to the #HijackRaw movement back in March. Company officials want to make sure there is no Twitter or general social media campaign to make something “bigger” happen as a result of the first “Hijack RAW” plans being squashed by WWE.
Additionally, there are reports that Michael Hayes, Kevin Dunn, and Vince McMahon are not big fans of Colt Cabana. They have reportedly told the social media department to keep an eye out for any mentions of his name. At the last Chicago show, several fans bought front row tickets and were wearing Colt Cabana t-shirts, which security made them remove as soon as they were seated. They were given WWE t-shirts to wear instead.
