Roman Reigns Injury & Return Update, The Rock/WWE, More

— As noted earlier, The Rock made his return on WWE RAW during a Lana and Rusev promo. The promo prompted “The Great One” to come out and he made fun of Lana and Rusev for a while until they got physical. The Rock knocked Rusev out of the ring and did his “if you smell what The Rock is cooking!” line. A full report is posted on the main newsboard.

— The Rock and Bruno Sammartino after WWE wished him a happy birthday were both trending on Twitter during Monday night’s WWE RAW broadcast. Numerous other names were also trending.

— Also on RAW, Roman Reigns did an interview live via satellite and said that doctors are happy with his progression after surgery, and he’s started moving around. Reigns said that he’s counting the days until he can return and that it will come sooner rather than later. No return date was specified.

— As noted earlier, Edge and Christian made two brief appearances on RAW to promote their live special that airs right after the show on the WWE Network.
