— As noted before, Stardust teased an announcement during Friday’s SmackDown, which ended up being a vignette with his tag-team partner, Goldust. The two cut a promo about “darkness,” noting that “darkness falls on the new day.”

Due to the phrasing, many have speculated that this would mean Goldust and Stardust could be working a program with “A New Day,” the new WWE faction that consists of Big E., Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
