New BWO Special Filmed For WWE Network – Details

UPDATE: As previously reported, Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie filmed host segments for WWE’s upcoming “ECW Unreleased Vol. 3″ DVD, which arrives this Spring.

However, the two also filmed a “BWO” special for the Network, which sees the two take over WWE HQ. It will air next year.

ORIGINAL: WWE is currently working on new content for the Network. During an appearance at the UBS Financial Conference in New York City yesterday, WWE CFO George Barrios said: “The thing that gets me the most excited is the new content we’re going to create for the Network. Now we haven’t announced it yet, and I think my boss would kill me if I chose the UBS conference to announce the new content, but I’m personally excited about what’s coming, so those announcements, those programs going on there, which to us then leads to in terms of what investors should be focused on is the acquisition and retention of subscribers. So that for us is a key part, seeing continued growth in the subscriber base globally is absolutely a core priority.”
