The darker lighting on this week’s iMPACT! in New York City was said to be a conscious choice by John Gaburick.
According to sources, Gaburick decided to light more of the ring and less of the crowd so the television audience’s attention was on the in-ring action. The company is still trying to find the right balance between lighting the ring and appearing to be “fan friendly”.
