According to sources, Rey Mysterio is nearly finished with his negotiations with WWE and could have his official release soon. Mysterio has reportedly been working on getting signing appearances set and promoters are just waiting for his release to begin announcing them.
It is expected that Mysterio will sign with Lucha Underground. He was believed to have received his release paperwork last week but there were still some issues that needed to be worked out so they haven’t been signed yet.
