The Reason Why WWE Dropped Their Elimination Chamber PPV

During a recent appearance on Nerdist podcast, Stephanie McMahon discussed WWE’s decision to drop the Elimination Chamber PPV.

McMahon explained that a major reason in dropping the event was the logistics hanging the chamber structure, which weighs approximately 10 tons. Many arenas across the US have been adding elaborate high-tech scoreboards above where the ring is set up. Due to this change, it’s become increasingly hard to hang the structure in those arenas.
