One of the reasons Bobby Lashley pulled out of his scheduled Bellator MMA bout with James Thompson was because he suffered a hand injury during his previous Bellator fight against Karl Etherington in October.
Lashley was hoping to compete as scheduled against Thompson on February 27th, however when he would train for the fight, his hand would swell up during grappling and punching exercises.
Lashley is still able to work pro wrestling matches with the hand injury, which is why he continues to perform for TNA and will be part of the company’s U.K. tour.
As things stand now, there is no date for Lashley’s Bellator MMA fighting return.
