Backstage Update – WWE’s Plans For Goldust vs. Stardust

According to sources, there have been plans to break up Goldust and Stardust to set up a WrestleMania singles bout for some time now. We reported last month that there has been talk of moving Goldust into a producer’s role following WrestleMania. The match with Stardust would be a way to write out Goldust and to also give Stardust some momentum as a singles performer.

The two are set to face off at Fastlane this Sunday night. At this time it is not known if this will be a one off or if this will play into the WrestleMania build.
