In an interview with Cleveland.com, Charlotte spoke about NXT’s buzz with fans. Here are highlights:
On NXT’s buzz: “I think it really helps that a lot of the faces on NXT were really popular on the independent seen prior. But I think fans gravitate towards us in general because our show is fresh and new. The writers, coaches and Triple H are all hands on.”
On being a part of Triple H’s WrestleMania 30 entrance: “Oh wow. First of all I’ve been going to WrestleMania with my family for a long time. It was my first WrestleMania without my brother (who passed away in March 2013), so it was emotional for him not to be there. But then to be a part of it, I can’t even describe it. To stand in front of 83,000 people was just amazing.”
On moving to the main roster: “Right now I’m just focused on what I have going on at NXT. Until the day they bring me up, I would make that my next focus. It would mean a lot to me coming from NXT. For now, I want to continue to build the NXT brand.”
