WWE SmackDown Viewership …. vs. The NCAA’s ‘March Madness’

While it wasn’t much of a jump, Thursday night’s episode of SmackDown encouragingly ticked up in the face of the NCAA’s “March Madness” tournament. The episode drew 2.60 million viewers and a 0.81 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, up 1% and 7% respectively from last week’s 2.57 million and 0.76 demo rating. The demo rating was even with the rating from two weeks ago.

The episode ranked fourth among cable shows for the night, behind three NCAA tournament games on TNT. The tournament also dominated broadcast network ratings on CBS.
