When the WWE crew landed in Albany, New York last night after an eighteen-hour flight back from Europe, a large group of fans were downstairs in the baggage claim area to get photos and autographs.
Randy Orton was said to have “berated” the fans for bothering the wrestlers after such a long flight and tour. Security immediately came over and told the fans who were standing around (20 or so) to back up. The situation never escalated and the fans respected the wishes of Orton and airport security.
The rest of the WWE crew looked exhausted and immediately headed to their hotel to get some sleep before tonight’s RAW at the Times Union Center. It’s a very short drive from their hotel near the airport to the arena – about 15 minutes total.
As a reminder, I will be at tonight’s RAW. If you see me, feel free to say hello and I’ll buy ya’ a beer on us! I look forward to seeing some of you later tonight!
