UPDATE: Yesterday we posted highlights from an interview, where the Great Khali stated that he would be returning to the WWE.
WWE’s comment on the story is that, “Khali is not returning to WWE.”
So much for that.
ORIGINAL: During a recent interview with Iamin, the Great Khali spoke about a return to the WWE. Here are the highlights…
On Starting a Wrestling Institute: I was busy establishing my wrestling institute in Jalandhar, Punjab. It’s a world class institute where more than 30 young wrestlers are being trained by trainers from USA currently. I have tried to provide best facilities there so that we can prepare world class wrestlers who can represent our country in the WWE world.
On Returning to WWE: It’s not that I had no offers from the WWE. I had voluntarily taken this break as I needed some time to establish the institute in Jalandhar. Now that the things are on track I decided to get back to the ring. I will be back soon with some more friends from US who will help me on my project to prepare WWE wrestling in India. We have trainees from all across the country. Also there are four girls apart from 30 boys who are being trained there. I wanted that girls get equal opportunity and so we have provided space for girls as well.
