Here is the latest on the reason why TNA changed the Slammiversary main event.

The company moved the Kurt Angle vs. Ethan Carter III TNA title match to the July 1st edition on iMPACT! because there was no way for the company to tape episodes that would air after the pay-per-view without spoiling their Slammiversary plans.

At this time, the company is working on a new main event for the Slammiversary PPV, which will not feature the world title.
