Early last month, reports broke that WWE was in discussions with WWN, the parent company of EVOLVE and Full Impact Pro, about working together in some capacity. There were unconfirmed claims at the time that the talks were about using the company as a developmental league in some capacity.
According to sources, the talks between the two companies have ended without a deal. One source close to the situation said that WWE felt they don’t have to pay someone to assess indy talent when they have people like William Regal who are doing so effectively. Gabe Sapolsky did not respond to a request for comment and WWE previously declined to comment on the rumored talks.
