Steve Austin spoke on the Steve Austin Show about being on the cover of WWE 2K16, saying that he’s “excited and honored” to be on the cover. Austin said that 99% of people are happy for him to be on the cover and that he understands why the rest aren’t happy with a non-active wrestler being on the cover.
Austin also discussed the rumored heat between him and Vince McMahon/WWE, clearing the air once again (he’s denied this in the past). Austin noted that the 2K deal “was going on when I had ‘alleged heat’ between WWE; and I couldn’t say anything because it wasn’t time [to announce the game cover]. For them to dust me off and bring me out of the closet means a lot.”
Austin also hinted at a big announcement that he said would be “devoured” by his fans, but didn’t clarify. You can listen to the full podcast at the link.
