— NJPW star Kazuchika Okada is backstage at SummerSlam, as are Bob Backlund and Oscar (of Men on a Mission fame).

— Linda McMahon is in the front row with her grandkids.

— The announced attendance for WWE SummerSlam at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York was a legitimate sellout of 15,702 fans.

— As previously reported, WWE has begun working on having another big week for SummerSlam next year, due to the success of this week. It’s expected that an NXT Takeover event will air again, with SummerSlam likely to run four hours once again. Basically, they are trying to give SummerSlam a “WrestleMania-like feel” now.
