This week’s edition of SmackDown reportedly featured ads for WWE’s upcoming house show in Toronto, Ontario, which is scheduled for September 25. Per the ads, John Cena is scheduled to defend the US title against Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins is set to defend the WWE world title against Dean Ambrose
The event will be held five days after WWE Night of Champions. Currently, Seth Rollins holds both the WWE US and world titles after defeating John Cena at this year’s SummerSlam. Obviously, cards are subject to change, and the ads could have been made before Cena dropped the belt. Currently, Rollins is only scheduled to defend the WWE title against Sting at Night of Champions.
WWE also confirmed that the Dudley Boyz are officially scheduled for the September 25 event in Toronto on Twitter. You can check out the tweet below.
