After having medical tests due to his injury at Night of Champions, it was revealed that Sting’s neck is not broken. He went to the hospital right after the PPV and had a CAT scan and an MRI. He was able to walk after the event but “was not doing well”. The MRI showed no fractures.
WWE was planning to have Sting in the opening segment of RAW, but he went home after the PPV and all the medical tests. His injury happened after taking the turnbuckle powerbomb. the company is “going to be leery” about putting Sting back in the ring after what happened.
