Backstage Update – TNA’s Future On Destination America

According to sources, here is the latest on the future of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling and Destination America.

The current internal schedule for the network reportedly has TNA iMPACT! Wrestling airing on the network during October. The internal schedule for Destination America was recently updated through Thursday, October 8. Currently, iMPACT! Wrestling is on the schedule to air on Wednesday, October 7.

According to a source within the company, a lot of matches that were taped during the early part of the most recent TV tapings that were not taped as part of an iMPACT! episode may now be used. These matches will likely be used as part of shows to fill international commitments and may now be used for some of the US commitments as well.

The company has not scheduled any future television tapings, but there is a deal being negotiated for tapings to be done in late November in India. Those TV tapings will be for international markets and Destination America if they are still on the network at that time.
