Court Bauer and Konnan claim that Carlito may be returning to WWE soon. The two discussed the possibility on this a recent episode of MLW Radio. The idea is apparently that Carlito could be brought back in order to try and fill the slot of a top Hispanic star, which WWE has been trying to fill following Rey Mysterio and Alberto El Patron’s departures.
Carlito hasn’t worked for WWE since 2010, when he was released for violating the Wellness policy and refusing to go to rehab. He has been working for his father Carlos Colon’s WWC in Puerto Rico; his last appearance on WWE TV was last year at Colon’s WWE Hall of Fame induction.
