According to sources, there is a lot of heat on Blue Pants (Leva Bates) from other NXT talent. Talent is upset that she was brought in for NXT Takeover despite not being under an NXT deal, as it allows her to sell her own merchandise without giving WWE a cut.
Combined with the fact that she has been able to increase her indy booking fees because of her NXT TV presence, she is making more money that a lot of NXT talent which is the source of the tension. She also doesn’t have to go through the daily WWE Performance Center training.
