— According to sources, the injury that kept AJ Styles off last weekend’s ROH tapings was a sciatic nerve issue. Styles needed time to rest and recover from it instead of bumping in the ring.
While ROH has said Styles will be back for Final Battle, there is a chance he could be ready by the time of NJPW’s November 7th show in Osaka, Japan.
— Here is an update on the Young Bucks’ ROH deal, noting that it is guaranteed for over a year, with more money than ROH has offered annually. The deal allows the Bucks to avoid relocating and lets them work less with a guaranteed income that was higher than NXT would have given them. The team can work for NJPW and PWG as well as ROH, but cannot work other promotions.
