Backstage Update – Tomasso Ciampa Not Signed With WWE Yet

UPDATE: Yesterday it was reported that Tomasso Ciampa was rumored to have signed a deal with WWE. Ciampa posted the following on Twitter in regards to the rumors…

As of Tuesday night, Ciampa had not signed with WWE.

ORIGINAL: After working several NXT shows as a free agent, Tomasso Ciampa is rumored to be in ongoing talks with the company. Ciampa indicated during a PROGRESS Wrestling show on Sunday that he is signed to a deal with WWE. He’ll return to PROGRESS to face Marty Scurll on November 29th, with the storyline being that William Regal has made the match possible.
