UPDATE: According to sources, the 2015 Summerslam PPV did 123,000 total buys. This is represented by 36,000 buys in North America and 87,000 buys internationally, down from last year’s 169,000 buys. The numbers were down 51.4% from last year’s show in North America (74,000 buys), but down only 8.4% internationally (95,000 buys).
ORIGINAL: WWE has released the preliminary buyrate estimates for SummerSlam and Battleground. SummerSlam did between 150,000 and 200,000 buys, while Battleground drew about 76,000 buys.
These numbers are separate from the WWE Network streams. Both numbers are up from last quarter’s shows.
