UPDATED: According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Lucha Underground sources have told them that the company attempted to lock Melina down to a long term deal before Ultima Lucha last season, but she would only sign on for the finale, and that the split was not due to an “attitude issue.” The sources claim that reports that she was “replaced” by Taya Valkyrie for being difficult to work with are not true. Melina also added the following on Twitter.
