Donald Haviland, better known to ECW fans as Hack Meyers, passed away today at the age of 41. He was two days away from his 42nd birthday. He competed in ECW from 1993 to 1996 and also made appearances in various independent promotions in Florida. He also trained Scoot Andrews and Travis “Tyson” Tomko.
It’s unknown if Meyers’ passing had anything to do with his recent brain surgery at Johns Hopkins Memorial, which was revealed by Axl Rotten back in November.
We would like to give our condolences to his family, friends and fans.
