Former WWE head of security Jim Dotson has passed away. Dotson’s family announced the news in a post written on a GoFundMe page, which seeks to raise money for the funeral as he did not have health or life insurance. He was forty-nine years old.
The post notes that “Jim spent years dealing with health issues including a serious incurable eye disease which kept him from working over the past several years.”
Dotson served as WWE’s head of security during the landmark Attitude Era from 1995 through 2001. On behalf of 411, our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Mr. Dotson.
