WWE US champion Alberto Del Rio was reportedly attacked by a fan at ringside during a wrestling match last night for World Wrestling Council at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Del Rio was working the show to fulfill one of his previous commitments before he recently returned to the WWE.
During Del Rio’s Match with Ray Gonzalez at the WWC Lockout event, a fan hit Del Rio in the back while Del Rio was outside the ring. After the incident, the fan was thrown out, and the match continued. The match ended by disqualification when Gonzalez applied the Figure-Four Leglock on Del Rio, and it was broken up by El Hijo de Dos Caras (Del Rio’s younger brother).
