Cal Bishop is going freestyle in the quest for Olympic gold. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Bishop, whose WWE NXT release aired on WWE Breaking Ground, is training to compete in the Olympics and will compete on Saturday to advance to the Olympic trials.
Bishop told the site that he’ll be competing in the 125 kg freestyle wrestling division and is ready to compete despite having lost a bit of shoulder strength due to his injury. The top seven finishers in each weight catagory will advance to the finals in April of 2016.
“I ain’t wasting no time,” Bishop said. “And now, my motivation is times 100!”
